Individual Task 3 – Ethical principles
.) Define the term ‘moral integrity’
Moral Integrity is the integrity of using morals in our daily life.
2.) Describe why Maximillian Kolbe is regarded as a Christian of exemplary moral integrity.
He is regarded as a Christian of exemplary moral integrity because he volunteered to die in place of a stranger in the Nazi concentration camp of Auschwitz in Poland.
3.) Outline Maximillians ethical actions/principles that he demonstrated in Auschwitz.
During the Second World War Kolbe provided shelter to refugees from Greater Poland, including 2,000 Jews whom he hid from Nazi persecution in his friary in Niepokalanów. He was also active as a radio amateur, with Polish call letters SP3RN, vilifying Nazi activities through his reports. On February 17, 1941 he was arrested by the German Gestapo and imprisoned in the Pawiak prison, and on May 25 was transferred to Auschwitz I as prisoner #16670.
4.) Evaluate whether you think he made the right decision and provide research to support your answer. i.e. Catholic teachings.
He made the right desicion to volunteer for the other man’s death and he made a choice that is greatly apreciated by God because he sacrificed his own life for Franciszek Gajowniczeks life.In the Catholic world they would respect his desicion because he sacrified him self for another person just as Jesus sacrificed himself fo our forgiveness of sins.

Very good work you have show evidence of personal research which is good. You made reference to the Catholic teaching which was required. Just be careful when defining words not to use the same word in the definition. Some minor gramatical errors but well done.5/5 Where is your individual task 4??

Ok. I would like a better definition. Don’t use the words you are asked to define in the definition. It seems you have cut and pasted as some materiial does not belong in the answer.
